The following article details the sensible precautions we have put in place to minimise the risk of COVID-19 (Novel Coronovirus) at our Practice.
In order to care for the wellbeing of our staff and patients we have introduced telehealth as a means of consulting with our patients.
However where it is determined that an appointment in rooms is necessary we will now be spacing our appointments so that patients are not in close proximity to other people in the waiting area. We kindly request that anyone visiting the practice apply hand sanitiser (available at our reception desk) upon entry to ensure the highest levels of hygiene.
To ensure our practice remains a safe environment we also ask all our patients to please notify us by phone or email if you have:
- Any symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, an acute respiratory infection, cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.
- Returned from any high-risk countries including mainland China, Iran, or the Republic of Korea, 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Been identified as a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Please notify our staff as early as possible so we can reschedule your appointment or where appropriate organise a phone consultation rather than a consultation in rooms.
