Dr Terence Moopanar is a highly skilled and caring Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Shoulder and Elbow, Trauma and Complex Arthroplasty (shoulder, elbow, hip and knee).
Dr Moopanar completed his medical and surgical training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the University of Sydney, where he also completed a PhD in Musculoskeletal Physiology. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He also completed prestigious fellowships both locally and abroad at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London, UK.
Dr Moopanar is passionate about teaching and education and staying at the forefront of orthopaedics. He has been appointed as the Director of Orthopaedic Training at Royal North Shore Hospital and is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Dr Moopanar is appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at a number of public and private hospitals across Sydney including Royal North Shore Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, Mater Hospital, Ryde Hospital, Nepean Hospital and Nepean Private Hospital.
For patient convenience – Dr Moopanar's rooms are based at the Sydney Orthopaedic and Reconstructive Specialist Centre (SORSC) in St Leonards, and in Penrith.
Dr Moopanar’s experienced staff of Anaesthetists and Administrators work closely with him to ensure that his patients receive the highest standards of care.
